Is it just me or do most Christian songs seem a little dated? Especially christian songs for kids.
Don’t get me wrong, I know the message is still the same today, yesterday, tomorrow and forever but the lyrics can be tweaked a bit. Even if you don’t change the lyrics around, update the beat to match something of today instead of something that makes me want to stuff cotton balls in my ears.
Anywhoo, I set out to find some good Christian songs for my kids that I could actually tolerate. I can only take so much of Larry and Junior’s melodies while driving down the road. A talented guy that Phil Vischer is but I’d rather not listen to him sing. Anyways I was beyond excited to discover that there are in deed some great Christian songs for kids out there and that’s why I’m so excited to share them with you.

Enjoying these videos?
Videos can slow down the load times on pages and I didn’t want to do that to you but there are also so many videos that need to be shared, that’s why I’ve continued the list below. Be sure to share this list with your local children’s church pastor as well. Of course if you see a certain video that you like you can always subscribe to that YouTube channel as well to easily find the video again.
Here’s to helping kids become excited about singing praises to The One True God!
37. It’s About The Cross
You may notice some of these videos are only samples of the songs, that’s because these people have jobs also and they sell their music to make a living. So, if you find a song that you like, consider purchasing it or following the artist online. As mentioned before, please tell your children’s church leader about these songs as well as they are always looking for new ways to encourage your children to fall in love with God and His Word. Most importantly, remember that you have a huge role in the spiritual life of your child and the media that you introduce to your children will help shape them also.
