These thoughts are my own, however I did not purchase the products, they were given to me.
Life gives us many blessings, knowledge and the ability to learn new things up unto, family, peace, laughter and the sound of birds early in the morning.
God gives us the blessing of smelling the rain before and after it pours, the ability to make memories from moments, the gift of salvation and the daily reminder through the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
Recently a new blessing was given to me, enjoying loose leaf tea. If you’ve never had loose leaf tea I’m sure I’m sounding crazy and that’s okay. I didn’t understand either how this was a blessing up until recently. You see, I had never had true loose leaf tea up until last year. My family and I are from the south and tea is a major part of who we are but the tea we drink here is as thick as the southern accents and even those are just another part of our daily lives, unnoticed by those around us. Recently however a friend of mine started a new adventure, a shop called Blooming with Joy. She sent me a package in the mail for review and the very first thing I noticed was the aroma coming from the package, even before I opened it.
It was heavenly!
If you have ever stepped barefoot in a garden then you know that you can smell tomatoes growing on a vine long before you can even see the fruit growing. This was like that in the sense that I could smell the tea long before I even saw the contents inside the package.
That was my first clue that this tea I was about to drink was nothing like the tea of the grocery store aisle.
This tea had something special going for it.
Michelle, the mom who created her own tea business sent three types of tea to me, Green Leaf Chai, Black Tea and then a Sleepy Time Herbal Tea.
Interestingly enough, the Lady Grey (Black Earl Grey) was my favorite, which I found to be odd, I thought surely the Green Leaf Chai would be. Don’t get me wrong, they were both nice and in fact my husband even drank a cup of Green Leaf Chai with me.
It’s no wonder tea and cookies in the afternoon is considered a luxurious event.
My children and I shared some gluten free, dairy free cookies while I sipped a cup of tea on my birthday and it was just the perfect amount of relaxing for me.
Even just looking at this cup of tea is enough to calm your nerves! It did just that, with every cup, I felt a sense of relaxation and it slowed me down just long enough to be more in tune with the world that our Creator gifted us with.
You see, coffee is wonderful but tea is marvelous.
It’s soothing and it calms you, sending peace through your body with it’s aroma. If you enjoy diffusing essential oils in your house the way that I do then chances are, drinking tea is right up your alley as well.
Personally, I usually add sugar to my teas, however I did not need to add any sugar to the tea I drank from Blooming With Joy. It was just right.
