Kids Book Tuesday
If you have been visiting this site for any length of time you may have noticed that every Tuesday we post what we refer to as Kids Book Tuesdays. This is just simply an in depth review of children’s book because we understand that reading to children is important for their growth. However, we also understand that as a parent finding the time to read a book isn’t always that easy. Then there is the whole process of finding a book to buy and wondering whether or not that book is worth spending money on and oh, then there is the fear about whether or not that book can live up to the wear and the tear of your family.
So, each Tuesday our book reviews are a bit different than what you would expect. Yes, we let you know why we think your kids will enjoy the book that we are talking about but we take the review farther than that. We let you know if you will be annoyed reading the book. We let you know if it takes a long time to read out loud because let’s be real, having to take a sip of water mid book because your kids wanted to read that crazy long tongue twister book is not our idea of bedtime fun.
Oh, and that money thing we were talking about earlier, have you ever bought a book only to bring it home and have a toddler tear it to shreds? Yeah, we’ve been there too so we let you know if the book is a paper back with paper pages or a hard cover with hard pages and so on. You get the point. This may be a kids book review day but really, the review is for you.
