First of all, I’m sorry this post is happening so late, I hope you enjoyed Teach With Straws – 100 Days Of School while you waited for me to publish this post. I couldn’t find today’s book anywhere! Turns out, it was on the bookshelf. Go figure. I’m not sure how I didn’t see it there but it was right in front of my eyes. I looked for it under the couch, in the bathroom (potty training), in the bedrooms, and everywhere except the book shelf.
This book is short and sweet but it is a good one if you have young kids. Having a book like this is a great way for me to incorporate daddy into the days of my kids while he is away at work. The book has a two sentence quote on every other page much like the quote listed below. It portrays the same daddy lion and cub through out the book and illustrates the daddy lion as a super hero, good friend,
man lion of God, and just overall a good role model for his young cub.
You can also find Thank You, God, For Mommy which is by the same author and illustrator but I personally do not own a copy of that book as of yet.
