Easy Gluten Free Recipes
Why gluten free? My son and I both must live on a strict gluten free diet for health issues. I was diagnosed with Celiac Sprue the year I became pregnant with my son and was actually told by two different doctors I may never have children. It wasn’t long after that second doctor put me on a gluten free diet that I became pregnant. Food isn’t meant to be a drug, although we tend to treat it that way. We often give it to ourselves and to our children as rewards, I myself am guilty of this. But. If we can learn to treat it as a means of survival, as a healing drug and not an abusive drug then we can see great health benefits.
Just because something is gluten free does not mean it is healthy. Gluten is just simply a protein that some bodies can not break down. My recipes aren’t always healthy and typically the ones that I eat at the house are just salads. The recipes posted on this site are recipes that I think you would enjoy or would like to know how to create. If you don’t think that these recipes meet those needs, please feel free to let me know.
